Over the years, he managed to expand the scope of activities of both companies and he was one of the co-founders of International Maritime Services (IMS) and International Maritime Inspection (IMI). These two new companies, established in 1995 and 2000 correspondingly, operate with great success at an international level.
Humberto currently holds the position of Managing Director at IMS. He specializes in naval architecture and technical consultancy. He has wide experience as a marine surveyor, supervisor, instructor, trainer and midshipman, not only in IMS and the affiliated companies, but also in a number of organizations and companies where he has been occupied. He envisions making his business grow horizontally by offering the whole chain of services related to the ship management industry. He aims to reach a stage where IMS will independently support the technical management section with various subsidiary companies all around the world.
